OFFICER’S REPORT
TO APPOINT REPRESENTATIVES TO VARIOUS FORA AND
MARINE SAFETY SUB-COMMITTEES
Report by the Chief Executive
A. Purpose of Report
To provide Members with a list of those Members currently appointed to represent the Joint Committee at various fora known to be active within the Joint Committee’s District and to seek nominations for representatives for the forthcoming year.
B. Recommendation
1. That Members agree the appointment of Members to the various Fora and Conservation Groups for the forthcoming year.
2. That the Chief Executive, or an officer nominated by him, may also attend any of these fora meetings at any time.
1. Background
1.1 The appointment of Members to the various fora is traditionally agreed at the Annual Meeting of the Joint Committee.
1.2 A list of Members currently appointed to those groups is attached at Annex A.
1.3 It has, in the past, been agreed that in making these appointments, the Chief Executive, or an officer deputed by him, may also attend any of these fora meetings at any time.
