ASSOCIATION OF SEA FISHERIES COMMITTEES:
APPOINTMENT OF REPRESENTATIVES TO ATTEND MEETINGS
Report by the Chief Executive
Purpose of Report
To receive the Committee’s instructions with respect to the appointment of representatives to attend meetings, usually in London, of the Association of Sea Fisheries Committee (ASFC).
Recommendation
That Members agree the appointment of representatives to the Association of SFC.
1. Background
1.1 The constitution of the ASFC allows each member SFC to be represented at meetings. Currently the Joint Committee’s representative is the Chairman, with the Vice-Chairs available to deputise if required.
1.2 The Chief Executive has previously also been appointed to attend meetings of the Association.
