Scallops

On 8th October 2009 the Welsh Assembly Government announced that there will be a total prohibition on scallop fishing in all Welsh waters until 1st March 2010 (S.I. No. 2721 of 2009).

Fishing for scallops in the English part of the North Western & North Wales Sea Fisheries District is authorised from 1st November 2009.
